What To Wear
What can I expect on the tour?
You can expect to have a great time with knowledgeable guides and kayak instructors as you explore the fascinating geothermal features of Yellowstone Lake.
Do I need any experience?
No kayaking experience necessary! Your guide will teach you everything you need to know.
What should I wear?
Dressing in layers is always best, with shorts or pants made of synthetic quick drying material, and shoes that can get wet. Having a rain or wind jacket, extra layers, and change of warm dry clothes for after the trip ends is also recommended.
What else should I bring?
You may also want to bring personal drinking water, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. Don't forget to bring your camera!
Will I get wet?
Yes. While you won’t ever be submerged in the water, you will get wet.
