Your 45-minute animal encounter takes place at the Oglebay Good Zoo. Located in Wheeling, West Virginia, this incredible zoo takes pride in providing high-quality animal welfare and is the state’s only AZA (Association of Zoos and Aquariums) accredited institution. Encounters like this one play a vital role in animal welfare by boosting the animal’s curiosity, preventing boredom, and minimizing stress.
After meeting up with the zoo’s team of professional sloth keepers, you’ll go behind the scenes for a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with a Linne’s two-toed sloth. These adorable critters can sleep up to 18 hours a day and live in the rainforests of South America.
You’ll feel like a real-life zookeeper as you feed and engage with the two-toed sloth. Throughout your experience, you’ll learn about sloth habits, diet, rainforest conservation efforts, and more. When Do I Choose A Date?
