Day 1
On your first day, we'll work our way northward kayaking along the picturesque west side of San Juan Island. We'll have spectacular views of the Olympic Mountain range to the south and Vancouver Island to the west. After we cross Spieden Channel we'll be paddling among forested, rocky islands including Spieden, Goose and John. Our destination for the night is Reid Harbor on Stuart Island, which is only accessible by boat. You will make camp among a forest of madronas, cedar and Douglas fir trees. You will cap the day off with a delicious 3 course dinner and glass of wine prepared by your guide.

Day 2
The next day, you'll do "le grand" circumnavigation around Stuart Island passing by many smaller uninhabited islands and glide past numerous birds including Great Blue Herons, Cormorants and Bald Eagles. We'll return to our campsite on Stuart and embark on an afternoon hike to the Stuart Island one room schoolhouse and light station. Wrap up the day with another tastefully prepared dinner from your guide, and if you are up for it, a starlit paddle to see bioluminescence.

Day 3
Your third day will be spent retracing our route back to our put-in site. You'll be in prime whale viewing territory again, so your chances of seeing resident Orca Whales is high. This is a terrific ending to a memorable 3-day adventure!
