Whether you dream of becoming a pilot, you’re checking an item off your bucket list, or you just want to see the world from the sky, this Learn To Fly lesson is the perfect introduction into the wild blue yonder.
You’ll kick things off when you meet your FAA Certified Flight Instructor, who will walk you through basic ground instruction. You’ll be flying in either a Cessna 172 or Piper PA-28, and you’ll learn how to check the fuel, the oil, and the instruments to make sure the plane is airworthy.
Then it’s time to take to the skies. Climb into the pilot's seat and get ready for take-off. Your instructor will be right beside you, taxiing down the runway and lifting up into the sky. But once you reach cruising altitude, you’ll be the one at the controls.
This flying lesson is no sightseeing tour. Taking the controls, you’ll really get a feel for what it’s like to pilot your own plane. During this lesson, you'll learn basic flight maneuvers, experience all the different phases of flight, and feel the unparalleled exhilaration and freedom of flying an airplane!

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions and your experience with us begins!Year-Round:

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Experience Gifts.
Once you have scheduled a date and received confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling for this experience is permitted up to 72 hours prior to the booked time. If you need to reschedule, please do so directly with the flight school and be sure to have confirmation that they have received your cancellation or reschedule request. Last minute cancellations may result in a $50 rebooking fee. Failure to appear on your booked date, or to reschedule in accordance with these terms will result in the loss of the value of the certificate. In the event that the date is cancelled due to weather, you will reschedule directly with the flight school.
