The experience was very enjoyable. I had not flown a plane in 38 years so it was great to take to the skys after such a long time. You’ll start off by meeting up with your FAA Certified Flight Instructor. Listen closely as you walk through a step-by-step preflight inspection of your Cessna 182, where an informative ground training lesson will give you a better understanding of both the airplane and flying in general.
Feel free to ask questions about the plane or about obtaining your private pilot’s license. Then, after preflight is complete, it’s time to buckle up and experience what it’s really like to fly an airplane.
You’ll learn all of the different phases of flight and feel the unparalleled exhilaration and freedom of flying an airplane. This is no passive experience. You’ll be at the controls most of the time, where you’ll practice turning, try your hand at climbs and descents, and even experience a landing or two.
Choose from either a 30-minute or 60-minute lesson for a great introduction to flight training. From ground school to engine start up to soaring over the Dallas skyline, this is one experience you’ll never forget!

What To Wear
What type of airplane will we be flying on?
You will be flying a single engine Cessna 182 with an FAA-certified flight instructor.
Are there any age or weight restrictions to participate?
Students must be at least 16 years old. The weight limit is 215 lbs, maximum height is 6’6”.
Do I need any flying experience?
No, this Learn to Fly experience is considered an introductory flight lesson. You will have an FAA Certified Flight Instructor coaching you throughout the flight.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is the biggest priority. If your flight is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will reschedule directly with your flight instructor.
Will the plane during my experience be heated or have AC?
Our partners have on board heaters and use outside air through air vents for cooling.
Returns
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, rescheduling is allowed up to 72 hours prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
