Using your smartphone, you and a loved one will embark on an epic quest through Newport. Each clue will take you inside local shops where you’ll collect the perfect picnic spread, bit by bit. Along the way, you’ll discover the beauty of Newport and explore historic, hidden gems.
Your last clue will lead you to a stunning picnic location. Bring a blanket, or settle in the grass, as you enjoy your gourmet goodies. From artisan meats and cheeses to locally sourced produce, you’ll dig into a delicious array of traditional picnic foods.
The fun doesn’t end there! In between stops, your phone will keep you both entertained with fun games and conversation starters.
When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions and your experience with us begins!Year-Round:

What should I bring?
On the day of your mystery picnic, please bring:
- A fully charged phone to access your picnic clues
- Pen and paper
- Bottle of water
- A cooler bag/carry bag with an ice pack to hold your items, as well as cutlery and plates/cheeseboard
- A picnic blanket if you have one
