Located near the Hoover Dam, the Monster Museum is home to hundreds of creepy creatures, film props, masks, and more - it’s perfect for movie lovers and horror fans alike! Plus, nearly everything inside the museum was created by SFX artist, Tom Devlin. Since 2001, Tom has created spine-chilling creatures and special effects make up for over 100 feature films. Now, he’s ready to share his monsters with the world!
As soon as you step inside, you’ll come face-to-face with recreations of Hollywood’s scariest creatures. You’ll see everything from classic monsters like Nosferatu and Frankenstein to modern favorites Freddy and Jason. Along the way, you’ll learn about the artists who brought these infamous characters to life.
In addition to monsters, you’ll discover incredible movie props, hair-raising creature masks, and so much more. You’ll also have the chance to watch a fascinating documentary about the artistry of special effects makeup.
Before exiting the museum, don't forget to take something monstrous home with you from the on-site gift shop!
