Discover Minneapolis from the Mississippi River in an out-and-back kayak paddle through the historic heart of the city!
You will receive a brief paddle and safety demonstration before you launch your kayak from Boom Island marina, just northeast of downtown.
Your guide will accompany you as you head upriver, traveling under several old and new bridges, toward the old Port of Minneapolis. The return journey is with the current and will provide one of the most distinctive skyline views from anywhere in town. You will have an opportunity to take some awesome photos. The tour ends with either a visit to Bassett Creek lagoon or to the top of St Anthony Falls. Travel down the river and back in time as you learn about the history and folklore of this wonderful place.
This fascinating and beautiful 2.5 hour kayaking tour is one you will never forget.
