There’s no better way to end the day on Martha’s Vineyard than by taking in a spectacular sunset over the water!
Meet up with your experienced guide and kayak instructor at the Little Bridge on State Beach, where you’ll receive an introduction in paddling techniques and get outfitted with all your gear. Once you feel confident, climb aboard and dip your paddle into the water. Admire the sky’s brilliant colors as you glide across the ripples that are already reflecting the sun’s colors.
Then, stop for a simple beach picnic with crackers, fruit and cookies plus your choice of cranberry juice or alcoholic beverage. Watch in awe as the sky above is painted with stunning reds, oranges, and yellows before heading back on your return journey. Using the light of the newly risen moon – or some fun glowsticks, depending on the moon phase – explore the water and keep an eye out for local nocturnal wildlife as you paddle back to shore.

What To Wear
What can I expect on the tour?
You can expect to have a great time with knowledgeable guides and kayak instructors.
Do I need any experience?
No kayaking experience necessary! Your guide will teach you everything you need to know.
What should I wear?
The temperatures can drop as the sun begins to set, so dress appropriately for the weather. Dressing in layers is always best, with shorts or pants made of synthetic quick drying material, and shoes that can get wet. Having a rain or wind jacket, extra layers, and change of warm dry clothes for after the trip ends is also recommended.
Will I get wet?
Yes. While you won’t ever be submerged in the water, you will get wet.
What about dietary restrictions?

Are bathrooms on site?
Unfortunately not. The closest bathrooms to our location are located 1.4 miles away at the Oak Bluffs steamship Authority.
