After meeting up with your experience provider, you’ll drive up the mountain of Mauna Kea to the most optimal place for stargazing. Enjoy a show of the most popular constellations and planets mixed with special light effects. The tour is led by an Analog-Astronaut and Pro Astro-Photographer, who currently assists as Mission Support for simulated moon and Mars missions at the HI-SEAS Habitat. You’ll head to a remote location away from the bright lights and touristy spots. Find dark Hawaiian skies and stargaze in peace and quiet as you search for deep space objects like Galaxies and Nebulas. Your guide even knows where to go to take epic photos of you with the Milky Way! Use high-tech equipment like a star-tracker and an astro-modified camera that takes long-exposure, tracked photos of galaxies, star clusters and nebulae to view and capture epic shots from Earth!
