Experience the magic of a Space Coast sunset as you explore the iconic sights of Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral from the open-air cockpit of a historic biplane!
There’s no better way to cap off your day in Cocoa Beach than enjoying a beautiful sunset from a vantage point that few people get to experience. This sightseeing tour is the perfect way to see the beauty of the Space Coast.
Greet your FAA Certified Pilot, then climb aboard a meticulously restored WACO UPF-7 open-cockpit biplane, one of only 100 flying in the world today. Slip on your headset and buckle up for an awe-inspiring evening in the skies.
As the sun begins to sink into the horizon and the warm glow of pink, red, and orange paints the sky, you’ll fly over the shores of Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, and the Banana River. Glide over Port Canaveral’s shrimp boat fleet and see if you can spot a US Navy submarine at the Trident Turning Basin. Soar over the meandering St. John’s River and Lake Poinsette to look for wildlife like egrets, eagles, and alligators in the soft light of the setting sun.
Fly over the Kennedy Space Center, where you’ll see the visitor’s complex, NASA’s Rocket Garden and Atlantis Shuttle display, the Vehicle Assembly Building, and launch pads. Then finish off the tour with an amazing runway pass as you actually fly down the Space Shuttle Runway.
You won’t get a better angle of the setting sun and fascinating sights of the Space Coast than on this spectacular Sunset Biplane Tour!
