Calling all novice adventurers! This basic kayak lesson will have you paddling like a pro in no time.
You'll meet your friendly guides who will provide all necessary equipment and instruction, as well as on-the-water assistance. This experience is broken up into sections to ensure the safest and most-enjoyable adventure. You’ll begin with a pre-launch orientation that covers all basic kayak skills.
Once you're feeling confident, you'll launch onto the water for an on-the-water orientation. Here you'll practice the skills you've learned while your guides are present for any assistance or clarification. This is the most beautiful classroom in the world! Enjoy the Florida landscape while you master your paddle and find your balance. After you've practiced, you'll head out on a short kayak tour of the waterway, led by your guide.
This 2-hour experience is open to all skill levels, so the whole family can join! You'll develop a new skill while getting a taste of Florida's beautiful waterways, which you'll now be able to explore as you grow in your kayak confidence.
