Founded in 1975, the Skip Barber Racing School is the largest racing school in the world. Their graduates include four-time Indianapolis 500 winner, Helio Castroneves, plus NASCAR Cup Series’ legends Jess Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. And now, you can experience it for yourself at the legendary Lime Rock Park!
The Skip Barber Racing School offers 1-day or 3-day programs:
1-Day Mustang GT Racing School: Beginning with a classroom session, you’ll learn all about vehicle dynamics and the racing line. Then, you’ll work one-on-one with a professional instructor and work on vehicle control and reading corners. Finally, you’ll get behind the wheel of a race-ready Mustang GT and enjoy a few lead-follow laps.
3-Day Mustang GT Racing School: Experience everything the 1-day school has to offer plus so much more! Enjoy multiple on-track sessions with an introduction to flags, passing and drafting exercises, and open lapping sessions.
No matter which option you choose, you’ll receive breakfast, lunch, and an annual Skip Barber Racing School membership. Members receive discounted rates on schools and programs, exclusive VIP packages, paddock access, hot pit tours, and meet-and-greet opportunities.
When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions and your experience with us begins!February - November:
Select Mondays and Tuesdays - 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Essential Information
- Participants must be at least 16 years old with a valid drivers license
- Drivers under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a consent form and waiver
- This experience is not recommended for individuals who are 6'4" or taller
- Manual transmission experience recommended
- Damage liability protection is not included and must be purchased ahead of your class
- Personal video cameras are not permitted
- Breakfast and lunch will be provided
- Lodging and transportation to and from the venue is not included
- Helmets and safety gear will be provided
