Experience the true beauty of the Upper Colorado River as you spend 24 hours rafting and camping during this Overnight River Rafting Adventure! Camp under the stars, relax at your riverside campsite, and raft beginner-friendly class II rapids during this truly unique Colorado experience!
Day 1
Your adventure begins around noon at the Kremmling Outpost where you will meet your guide and fellow paddlers. You will be geared up and given a brief rafting tutorial before loading up and hitting the rapids. From the water, you will enjoy views of historic cabins, scenic waterfalls, towering canyon walls, and more. If you're lucky, you may even spot a bald eagle, a black bear, or an endangered Colorado river otter. After paddling the river, you will set up your riverside camp and settle in for an unforgettable night of outdoor fun. While your guides prepare your dinner, you will have plenty of time to go for a hike, search for fossils, or just relax by the river. If you've got some extra energy to burn, you may even enjoy trying out the inflatable kayaks and stand up paddlboards at camp. After dinner, you'll enjoy a roaring fire and swap stories with your guides and fellow campers. When it's time to turn in, you'll settle in to your provided tent or opt to sleep cowboy-style under the stars!
Day 2
In the morning, you will awaken to the smell of hot coffee and a hearty breakfast. Enjoy your meal while you soak in the scenery at camp and prepare yourself for the day. Before you know it, it will be time to pack up and hit the water once more. On your second day of rafting, you will enjoy a few hours of fantastic intermediate whitewater. You will return to the Outpost around noon with stories to share for years to come!

- Not recommended for those with serious back or knee injuries

- Participants must provide their own sleeping bag
- A minimum of 4 participants is required for this tour to run. You may be combined with other groups or rescheduled to another day if minimums aren't met.

What To Wear
Is there a minimum age to participate in this tour?
Yes, participants must be at least 5 years old to join this experience. Special pricing may be available for participants under the age of 13. Please contact Virgin Experience Gifts directly to inquire prior to purchase.
What are the overnight accommodations like?
This is a true camping overnight experience! Your guides will bring almost all the equipment you'll need for a comfortable experience and help you to set up camp. Tents and 4-inch thick sleeping pads are provided. You just need to bring your sleeping bag!
Are meals and snacks provided?
This overnight adventure includes a hearty dinner and breakfast (with hot coffee) prepared by your guides at camp. Additional snacks and beverages should be packed in your own bags.
Can I bring my own beverages and/or alcohol?
Yes! You may pack your own drinks to be enjoyed at camp. Glass bottles are not allowed, however, and consumption of alcohol is not allowed before or on the river.
What should I pack?
Your guides will provide most of the equipment you need including a tent, sleeping pad, camp chairs, kitchen supplies and more.
You should pack:
- River shoes (must stay securely on your feet, no flip-flops)
- Sleeping bag
- Change of clothes, including warm layers and dry shoes
- Towel
- Rain Jacket
- Personal toiletries
- Flashlight or headlamp
- Frisbee or other means of entertainment
