In this 3-hour class, you’ll get hands-on training and be equipped with everything you need to design a one-of-a-kind piece of stained glass art. Meet your experienced instructor who will teach you all about the iconic copper foil method and provide you with all the necessary materials.
Choose from over 50 pre-cut suncatcher designs, like a snail, owl, frog, star, sun, rose, and so much more. Discover the same steps and methods that are utilized in producing large-scale artwork like lamps and panels. Learn to grind, foil, burnish, and solder your piece until you end up with a colorful masterpiece to take home with you. Do I need art or jewelry making experience?
No prior experience necessary, beginners are welcome and encouraged.
Is there a minimum age limit?
Participants must be at least 13 years of age.
Will I learn how to cut glass?
No, you will not learn how to cut glass, patina, or learn how to do the method independently. This class is designed to provide a quick, immersive experience into the copper foil method of stained glass creation.
