Climb aboard a custom Jeep Wrangler, specially outfitted to give you unimpeded views of the canyon around you, for this guided tour. You will get your first glimpse of the famed Grand Canyon when you stop at Yavapai Point. From here, you can see for miles and will be able to spot the popular Phantom Ranch and Bright Angel hiking trails below. Your certified guide will share the history of the Canyon with you before continuing on with the tour.
Next, you will visit Grand Canyon Village, once a stop for stagecoaches and now the popular gateway to Grand Canyon National Park. Grab some photos and visit the historic El Tovar Hotel and Hopi House before continuing further into the park. Your guide will drive you along the South Rim to Hermits Rest, an area that has fewer crowds but incredible views! Here, you will embark on a guided Grand Canyon hike along the Hermit Trail. This fun trip below the canyon's rim will lead you to ancient fossil beds and you will learn about the fascinating geology of the area. At approximately 1 mile round-trip, this short but challenging hike is absolutely worth it!
Your tour of the Grand Canyon's South Rim includes all park entrance fees as well as a DVD of the IMAX movie: Grand Canyon: Hidden Secrets.

Is this an off-road tour?
No - this tour stays on pavement and takes you to several beautiful vistas along the South Rim. The hiking portion, however, will not be paved.
Are hotel pick-ups included?
Complimentary hotel pick-ups can be arranged for guests staying in the town of Tusayan only. Otherwise, guests are expected to arrange their own transportation to the meeting location for this tour.
How long is the hike?
The hike below the rim is approximately 1 mile round trip and fairly steep. Please be sure the wear good walking shoes for this tour.
