The Kenai River, called Kahtnu in the local Dena'ina language, is the longest river in the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska. It is surrounded by lush, vibrant wilderness and verdant Mountains that rise up to create a breath-taking, panoramic vista. This 82-mile river features vast slow-moving stretches, bubbling rapids, and continuous views of the surrounding landscape. You can spend hours paddling along its stretch and still find new things to fall in love with!
You’ll meet up in Seward, where transportation will take you to the river for a day of packrafting fun! Everything you need is included, from life jackets to paddles, so you can tackle the bubbling waters with ease. You will learn how to packraft in one of the most beautiful landscapes in the US. A friendly guide will offer instruction as well as fun facts and stories about the terrain. Spot local wildlife grazing along the river, including bears, deer, and more. This tour is rated as moderate, so beginners can join in on the fun, and your guide is there to offer any assistance needed. You'll have a spectacular time paddling through the river with unrivaled beauty all around you!
